ehicle-parts supplier Dana Corp. said late Friday that it would not file its 10-Q earnings statement for the quarter ended Sept. 30 by an Nov. 14 extended filing deadline.

Dana said that, as it previously announced, it will restate its financial statements for 2004 and the first and second quarters of 2005.

“Until such time as the restatements are completed, the company will not be in a position to finalize its financial statements for the third quarter of 2005,” Dana said in a statement.

The company said Oct. 10 it would restate its 2004 and first two quarters of 2005 earnings after an internal investigation found accounting errors.
