Dana Corp. to Close Eight Plants

ankrupt auto parts supplier Dana Corp. said Thursday it will close eight North American plants as part of its restructuring efforts, Bloomberg reported.

The parts supplier did not specify which locations it would close, Bloomberg said.

In addition, Dana will scale back production at three other facilities in an effort to save as much as $85 million a year.



The parts supplier also plans to make changes to its union contracts and eliminate retiree health-care benefits in an effort to cut costs, Bloomberg said.
