Cummins, Geotab Partner on Engine Diagnostics
Engine maker Cummins Inc.’s remote diagnostics application is now available through Geotab’s telematics platform, the companies said in a joint announcement.
Through this partnership, the Cummins Connected Diagnostics application will use data collected by Geotab’s GO devices to provide fleets with immediate notifications of urgent engine faults, along with Cummins’ recommended course of action.
“Our joint solution will allow fleet managers to address faults within seconds, assisting with quicker mission management decisions, reducing progressive damage potential and improving efficient maintenance and repair scheduling,” said Colin Sutherland, vice president of sales at Geotab.
