ovenant Transport Inc. said Wednesday its board had authorized it to repurchase up to 1.3 million shares of stock.
Under a previous program, the truckload carrier repurchased about 700,000 shares for $11.6 million between May 2004 and this month. Covenant is ranked No. 29 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
