Contrans Income Fund Reports Higher Quarterly Profit

anadian firm Contrans Income Fund said Tuesday it earned $7.9 million or 28 cents a unit, compared with $6.8 million or 24 cents a year earlier.

Revenue rose to $114.4 million, from $96.7 million.

Contrans is ranked No. 73 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
