Consumer Sentiment Slips in November

he University of Michigan said Wednesday its index of consumer sentiment for November fell to 92.1 from 93.6.

Economists had expected the index to fall to 93.3 from October’s final reading of 93.6, Bloomberg reported.

Earlier reports showed November’s preliminary reading at 92.3, Bloomberg said.

October’s reading of 93.6 was the highest for the index since July 2005.
