(Cole Land Transport Museum) A 1929 Ford Model AA, which replaced the Model TT Trucks, has been restored.
A family tradition in trucking combined with a passion for charitable work led the former chairman of Coles Express to establish a museum to enable people to learn about the evolution of transportation.
Galen Cole came up with the idea to preserve transportation history in 1987 as part of his retirement plan. After securing financing, land and materials, construction to turn his dream into reality began in April 1989.
The first exhibits opened almost a year later.
Since then, the museum has counted more than 200,000 people who have walked through its doors and down its display aisles.
