Clean Energy Trims Third-Quarter Loss

Clean Energy Fuels Corp., which provides fuel for natural gas-powered vehicles, said Tuesday its third-quarter loss was smaller than a year ago, as revenue jumped 46%.

It said it lost $1.8 million, or 3 cents a share, compared with an $18.5 million, or 31-cents, loss a year ago. Revenue rose to $45.7 million from $31.2 million.

 

The company said the number of gasoline gallon equivalents delivered during the quarter rose to 31.3 million from 29.5 million a year ago.



Clean Energy is the largest provider of natural gas fuel for transportation in North America, providing natural gas fueling for trucks, buses and auto fleets.
