CF to Divest 10 More Terminals; Liquidating Auctions Proceed

img src="/sites/default/files/images/articles/printeditiontag_new.gif" width=120 align=right>Bankrupt less-than-truckload carrier Consolidated Freightways said it would auction off 10 more terminals on Jan. 27 as part of its ongoing asset liquidation. It also plans to hold auctions every three weeks to sell most of its properties.

Trucking and transportation-related companies have already placed initial contracts on each of the terminals, company spokesman Mike Brown told Transport Topics.

Appraisal values range from $95,000 for the Dubuque, Iowa, facility to more than $13 million for the Nashville, Tenn., site.
