Omnitracs has hired Dan Speicher as its chief technology officer, continuing the expansion of its executive team since Vista Equity Partners purchased the business from Qualcomm Inc. in November.
The announcement follows the truck technology provider’s appointment of David Post as its president and chief operating officer last month.
The San Diego-based company also named John Graham as CEO and Jordan Copland as chief financial officer back in November.
In his new role, Speicher will provide product vision and development strategy for all Omnitracs business units, the company said.
“I am very pleased to have the opportunity to leverage my years of information technology and telematics experience to support the company’s ongoing efforts to meet and exceed the expectations of our fleet customers,” Speicher said.
