Shorepower Adds Electric Plug-In Sites to Eight Truck Stops

Shorepower Technologies announced that eight more truck stops across the country have added electric plug-in sites.

The eight new locations are among 50 truck stops that have equipment installed by Shorepower through the Department of Energy’s Shorepower Truck Electrification Project, the company said. Four of the new sites include connections for hybrid refrigerated trailers.

The new plug-in power stations have been installed at truck stops in Dunnigan, Calif.; Lamar, Colo.; Parma, Mich.; Springer, N.M.; Canton, Texas; Beaver, Utah; Little America, Wyo.; and Evansville, Wyo.
