The American Transportation Research Institute has launched its 2013 survey on the trucking industry’s top issues.

To take the survey online, visit ATRI’s website, www.atri-online.org.

The ninth-annual survey, commissioned by American Trucking Associations, asks trucking industry stakeholders to rank the top issues of concern for the industry along with appropriate strategies for addressing each issue.

“In complex times like this, it is critical that we do our part to help ensure a thriving future for the trucking industry,” said ATA Chairman Michael Card, who is also president of Combined Transport Inc., based in Central Point, Ore.

Last year, ATRI’s survey showed that the federal government’s Compliance, Safety, Accountability, or CSA, program, surpassed the economy as trucking’s top concern.

The survey’s results will be released at ATA’s Management Conference & Exhibition, to be held Oct. 19-22 in Orlando, Fla.
