Arnold Transportation Appoints Smith President

Todd Smith has been appointed as president of truckload carrier Arnold Transportation Services, Arnold’s parent company U.S. Xpress Enterprises said Monday.

Smith has more than 25 years of transportation industry and has served during for last five years as president of LinkAmerica Corp., a holding company for several regional truckload carriers operating mainly in the south central and southeastern U.S.

Under his leadership, LinkAmerica grew to more than $150 million in revenue, U.S. Xpress said in a statement.

“We believe that Todd’s track record of success in overseeing regional operations is perfectly suited to lead Arnold into the future within a highly competitive marketplace,” said Max Fuller, U.S. Xpress’ chairman & CEO.



U.S. Xpress Enterprises is ranked No. 15 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
