TT’s Road to NTDC, MCE Coverage Wins National AZBEE Honors
Transport Topics’ coverage of “The Road to NTDC 2018” and the 2018 Management Conference & Exhibition are among the entries that have earned national accolades from the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
MCE 2018 coverage won a silver national AZBEE award.
Overall, TT took home five AZBEE awards — three silver and two bronze — at ASBPE’s annual awards of excellence banquet May 9 in St. Petersburg, Fla. In April, TT won eight regional awards from ASBPE.
Silver awards were presented in these categories:
Online > Web Microsite/Special Section (Non-Trade Show/Conference): “The Road to NTDC 2018,” TT’s five-month-long coverage of state championships that produced the qualifying drivers for the National Truck Driving Championships.
Design > Web Article Design: The NTDC Grand Champion article that included photos, video, audio and complete results.
All Content (print & digital) > Trade Show/Conference Coverage: Comprehensive real-time online coverage and 21 pages of print coverage in Transport Topics’ Nov. 5 edition of the 2018 Management Conference & Exhibition in Austin, Texas.

Bronze awards were presented in these categories:
Online > Web Feature: “How Drivers and Autonomous Trucks Could Work Together to Move Freight,” by Managing Editor / Features Seth Clevenger, which featured eight photos, three videos, a sidebar and a related podcast.
Design > Front Cover — Special Issue or Supplement: The cover design for our Top 50 Logistics Companies special supplement.
