TSA to Begin TWIC Enrollment in Delaware

The Transportation Security Administration said it would begin to enroll truck drivers and other port workers in its Transportation Worker Identification Credential program at the port of Wilmington, Del., this month.

The agency also released 11 ports set for TWIC deployment next month, including Oakland, Calif.; Tacoma, Wash.; Savannah, Ga.; and Houston.

TSA also said it had lowered the fee for the card by about $5 to $132.50, noting that drivers who already have a hazmat endorsement or a Free and Secure Trade (FAST) card will pay $105.25.
