Teamsters, Canadian Pacific Reach Tentative Pact

The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference, which represents 4,500 locomotive engineers and conductors, reached an agreement with rail line Canadian Pacific on a revised tentative five-year contract settlement, CP said.

The draft settlement will be sent to union membership for ratification, which is expected to conclude within the next eight weeks, CP said in a statement late Wednesday.

Details of the tentative agreement will be released following ratification of the agreement by union members, the railroad said.
