Schneider National Names New CFO

ruckload carrier Schneider National Inc. said Monday that David Vander Ploeg was named chief financial officer effective Jan. 3.

Vander Ploeg was most recently senior vice president of finance, the company said in a statement. He has been with the company since 1983.

He would replace Thomas Gannon, who Schneider said was elected to the board of directors.

Schneider National is ranked No. 7on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
