Mountain Valley Express Sold to International Buyer

Mountain Valley Express, a California-based carrier, has been sold to an unidentified international buyer, according to its agent, Affinity Ventures.

Affinity Ventures said it acted as the exclusive merger-and-acquisition adviser to Mountain Valley Express for the transaction, according to a Nov. 12 news release. Terms were not disclosed.

Mountain Valley Express has six locations in California, two in Nevada and one in Phoenix. The company is based in Stockton, Calif. It is a freight carrier that specializes in overnight and second-day transport between direct points across the western United States, according to Affinity Ventures.
