The cross-border freight brokerage and logistics service field has a new player in Forager Logistics. The Chicago-based company will focus on servicing supply chain networks in the automotive and aerospace industries, according to a Jan. 3 press release.
Forager Logistics was founded by Matt Silver, the company’s CEO, who departed from a managerial position at Coyote Logistics in early 2018. There he gained experience with logistical challenges in transporting to and from Mexico and Canada.
Cross-border shipment service will be Forager’s primary focus, but the company’s services include arranging full truckloads within the United States as well.
“We’re hyper-focused on the level of service provided to shippers, as there is a high demand for perfection when it comes to the operational details of cross-border truckload,” Silver said. “Our job is to change the way freight moves throughout North America.” — Transport Topics
