Eaton Names Chief Technology Officer

Vehicle parts manufacturer Eaton Corp. named Lennart Jonsson its new chief technology officer.

Jonsson came to Eaton in 2004 with its acquisition of Powerwave. He served as senior engineering manager, then was promoted to vice president of technology and CTO for Eaton’s electrical group in 2007.

Jonsson “will lead our businesses in the development of robust technology roadmaps that increase our ability to create solutions for our customers’ power management challenges,” Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alexander Cutler said in a statement.
