FMCSA Says It Will Fund Anti-Terror Research

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration announced Sept. 6 it will give high-tech firms $2.5 million to test technologies aimed at preventing a truck carrying hazardous materials from being used in a terrorist attack.
