YRC Worldwide Names Timothy Wicks CFO

YRC Worldwide Thursday named Timothy Wicks its Chief Financial Officer, effective Oct. 13.

Wicks was previously with UnitedHealthcare, where he was senior vice president for strategic growth initiatives.

Wicks succeeds Paul Liljegren, who served as interim CFO over the past month. He will report to Bill Zollars, YRC’s chairman and chief executive officer.

In August, Con-way Inc. said it had hired YRC’s former CFO, Stephen Bruffett, who had been in the post at YRC for about a year. He started at Con-way earlier this month.

YRC Worldwide is ranked No. 4 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
