Webb Wheel Products Sets Separate Business Units
ebb Wheel Products said it had reorganized its operations into separate business units, including original equipment manufacturers, aftermarket and the transit industry.
The company is a supplier of wheel end products to the heavy-duty vehicle industry.
“Each business now has dedicated manufacturing operations supported by a complete organization committed to serving their individual customer bases,” said Ken Dickson, the company’s president.
Its OEM truck business will be located temporarily at the Tell City location, with planning under way for a separate, stand alone facility next year.
The company also said it converted its plant in Cullman, Ala., to a dedicated aftermarket product machining and support facility, with new machinery, robotics, balancing and coating equipment.
Webb Wheel did not say how much the changes would cost.
