VTNA Offers Online Customization of VNR, VNL Models
Volvo Trucks North America has made available an online configurator tool for customizing eight new models in its VNR and VNL series.
Once built, the custom-spec’d design can be sent directly to a local VTNA dealer for additional information.
The configurator “gives customers and enthusiasts the opportunity to build their dream Volvo while learning more about the truck and its intended application,” said Magnus Koeck, Volvo Trucks North America vice president of marketing and brand management.
In total, the online configurator for desktop and tablets features 22 options that can be selected, rendering more than 4,000 versions of a truck, according to the Greensboro, N.C.-based company, which is a unit of the Volvo Group.
Options include paint colors, bumper, mirrors, air intake, fairings, bright packages, interior trim level, powertrain, safety features and uptime services.
