Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks, both units of Volvo Group, announced that they rolled out an integrated parts cross-reference feature on their e-commerce platform Select Part Store.

The Greensboro, North Carolina-based manufacturers said the cross-reference tool uses a proprietary database that analyzes the part numbers that customers search for and provides them with the equivalent Mack or VTNA parts.

“Mack’s Select Part Store has experienced an average of 60% growth in volume each year since the platform launched in 2010, and we’ve kept the bar high to give our customers the parts purchasing power they demand and deserve,” Chad Johnson, director of aftermarket marketing for Mack Trucks, a unit of Volvo Group, said in a statement.

“Prior to the introduction of the new cross-reference tool, users had to conduct independent, often extensive searches, for equivalent parts and also for updates to part numbers that had recently changed,” Chris Buss, Volvo manager of aftermarket service marketing, said in a statement.

The cross-reference tool is now available through participating Select Part Store dealerships.
