Volvo’s North American Deliveries Jump 55%
Volvo Group’s North American heavy-duty truck deliveries jumped 55% in February from a year ago, the company said March 20.
Deliveries of its Volvo and Mack brands in North America rose to 3,896 trucks from 2,519 a year ago, Gothenberg, Sweden-based Volvo said in a statement.
Volvo-brand truck North American deliveries jumped 69% to 2,412 trucks, and Mack’s rose 43% to 1,477.
Worldwide heavy-duty truck deliveries for all Volvo brands rose 35% to 13,740 units.
Volvo Group includes Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and the Eicher, UD Trucks and Renault Trucks brands.
