ransportation and third-party logistics firm Pacer International on Thursday named Michael Uremovich to succeed founder Don Orris as chief executive officer.
Orris, who founded the company in 1997, will continue to serve as member of Pacer’s board through March 31, the company said in a statement.
Uremovich was most recently Pacer’s vice chairman, in which capacity he focused on corporate strategy and external affairs. He also directed the operations of the company's International, Supply Chain Services, and Warehousing and Distribution units, Pacer said.
