UPS to Open Logistics Center for Pratt & Whitney

UPS Inc. will open a 600,000-square-foot logistics center in New Hampshire for Pratt & Whitney, according to the aircraft parts manufacturer.

The Northeast Logistics Center will serve as a distribution complex for parts, tools and supplies. It is scheduled to open in June 2015 in Londonderry.

UPS will operate the center and provide parts receipt, storage, building of manufacturing and assembly kits, packing, inventory management and freight transportation.

UPS serves Pratt & Whitney through logistics operations in Atlanta; West Palm Beach, Florida; Dallas; and the Netherlands.
