PS Inc. said Monday it has expanded its U.S. early morning delivery territory by more than 7,200 new Zip codes.

The move gives the carrier for early-morning delivery service to about 19,200 Zip codes across the country, UPS said in a statement.

With the additional zones, more than 77% of the U.S. population can receive UPS Next Day Air early morning deliveries up to two hours prior to regular guaranteed overnight service —as early as 8:00 a.m. in some areas the company said.

UPS said it was the first express carrier to offer this early morning product nearly 10 years ago. The guaranteed service provides an option for both urgent need shipments and daily early morning stock replenishment. Saturday service is also available to certain destinations.

UPS is ranked No. 1 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
