Truck Bodies & Equipment International Acquires Travis Body & Trailer

Truck Bodies & Equipment International, which sells trailers for grain, construction and other uses, has acquired Travis Body & Trailer to add product options for the waste and construction markets, said a statement from GenNx360 Capital Partners, which owns the buyer.

GenNx360, didn’t disclose terms for the acquisition of Travis, based in Houston, whose products also serve the rendering and agricultural markets. The move continues the buyer’s expansion program that began in 2013.

"This acquisition is consistent with our expansion into the dump trailer market,” said Bob Fines, CEO of Minnesota-based Truck Bodies, "This acquisition further strengthens the GenNx360 truck body and trailer platform bringing expertise in aluminum dump trailers and dump bodies, expansion into the southwest, a strong and loyal dealer network and a leading position in the trailer market.

Travis will operate a separate division within Truck Bodies, the statement said.



New York-based GenNx360 also owns syncreon, a logistics company based in the Detroit area, as well as businesses in the industrial sector.
