TQL Updates Its Freight Brokerage App

Allows Drivers to Bid for Freight on Smartphones, Tablets

Total Quality Logistics has updated its freight brokerage app to allow owner-operators to find and book loads.

The new app — TQL Carrier Dashboard — replaces the TQL Carrier Web Portal.

“Logistics is a fast-paced industry that is constantly evolving to keep up with economic demands,” TQL President Kerry Byrne said. “TQL continually looks for ways to create more efficiency for carriers, which is key to our ability to provide the best service possible to customers,” he added.

One of the new functions is a search and submit a quote function, allowing drivers to make an offer that goes directly to the broker to begin the negotiation.

It’s a feature that some truck drivers on the Rate Per Mile Masters Facebook group have applauded in apps from competitors Coyote Logistics and Convoy.

TQL ranks No. 27 on the Transport Topics Top 50 list of the largest logistics companies in North America.

C.H. Robinson Worldwide (No. 5), Echo Global Logistics (No. 39), J.B. Hunt Integrated Capacity Solutions (No. 2) and BNSF Logistics also have apps. — Transport Topics
