TA Truck Service, a unit of TravelCenters of America, moved its national call center to a 32,000-square-foot facility so its RoadSquad unit can expand its customer base to provide services for additional fleets nationwide.

The center is located in Westlake, Ohio, as is TCA, which operates the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands.

The TA Truck Service network includes 244 truck service facilities, 1,090 repair bays, nearly 3,000 technicians, a fleet of more than 600 RoadSquad service trucks, more than 2,000 third-party provider service trucks and more than 100 OnSite mobile maintenance vehicles, according to TCA.

“Whether the call is for a simple out-of-fuel, a tire or more complex issues, our highly trained technicians provide more services than most alternatives,” TravelCenters CEO Tom O’Brien said in a statement.

The new center is equipped with larger work places, an expansive training room and the latest in call center technology, according to the company.

“We are already seeing improvements in speed of service and the new customer onboarding process,” O’Brien said.

TCA offers diesel and gasoline fueling, restaurants, truck repair facilities, convenience stores and other services in 43 states and Canada.
