Qualcomm’s Fiscal Fourth-Quarter Earnings Rise

The company said it expects to earn between $1.45 and $1.50 a share in its 2007 fiscal year on revenue of $8.1 billion to $8.6 billion.
ireless-services provider Qualcomm Inc. reported late Thursday that it earned $614 million or 36 cents a share in its fiscal fourth quarter ended Sept. 24, up 14% from the previous fourth quarter.
Net income for the company’s full fiscal year was $2.47 billion or $1.44 a share, up 15% from 2005.
Quarterly revenue rose 28% to $2 billion, while revenue for the full year was up 33% to $7.53 billion.
