img src="/sites/default/files/images/articles/printeditiontag_new.gif" width=120 align=right>International refrigerated, flatbed and liquid bulk truckload carrier Prime Inc. has purchased the assets of bankrupt Rocor International, Oklahoma's largest trucking company, for an undisclosed sum.

Prime said the sale, which closed Oct. 18, gives it Rocor's business, contracts and customer relationships. Prime said it also was negotiating to acquire Rocor's rolling stock.

"We went in as a bidder in an auction," Prime General Counsel Steve Crawford told Transport Topics. "An opportunity presented itself and we wanted to take a deeper look at it. We did and ended up the prevailing bidder."
