P&G to Build Asia’s Largest Distribution Center

Procter & Gamble Co. said it has started construction on what will be Asia's largest distribution center, in Guangzhou, China.

P&G and the Chinese government will jointly construct the facility, which will cost more than $100 million to build, the Cincinatti Business Courier reported.

In addition to serving P&G, the center will also offer storage area leasing and third-party logistics management services, the consumer goods maker said Thursday.

The building will be the second largest distribution facility for Cincinatti-based P&G.
