etro Stopping Centers LP reported it earned $781,000 for the first quarter, compared with a loss of $7.6 million last year.

Last year’s loss included $7 million in debt and retirement costs, the company said.

The truck-stop chain said in a statement its revenue rose 26.2% to $361.2 million, driven primarily by fuel retail price increases and an increase in the number of gallons sold.

Petro said it opened three truck stops in the quarter.
