PeopleNet, Vigillo Partner on CSA Data

Vigillo will provide regulatory compliance data for a new safety analytics dashboard offered by PeopleNet, the trucking technology providers said in a joint announcement.

The safety dashboard, available to all PeopleNet users, will allow carriers to examine key metrics to focus on their riskiest drivers and proactively address unsafe practices.

The software will use Vigillo’s data pertaining to the federal Compliance, Safety, Accountability program. The dashboard also will provide information on hours of service, vehicle speed and risky driving events such as hard braking.

“Joining forces with PeopleNet to supply CSA data for its new safety dashboard will allow our mutual customers to proactively assess their riskiest drivers and have the visibility and access to actionable analytics they need to find solutions that offer a competitive advantage,” Vigillo CEO Steve Bryan said.

PeopleNet, which is part of Trimble, provides telematics and other fleet mobility technology.

Vigillo offers CSA scorecards and data mining software for the trucking industry.
