he price of regular gasoline declined about three cents in the past two weeks to an average of $1.93 a gallon, according to the Lundberg Survey of 7,000 stations nationwide.

Analyst Trilby Lundberg said the decline was due to falling crude oil prices, Reuters reported. Prices at the pump have dropped 11 cents over the past six weeks, prompted by a slide in oil prices after they reached record highs in October.

The trucking industry uses about 290 million gallons of gasoline each week.

At $2.32 per gallon, Honolulu had the highest average price for self-serve regular unleaded gas. Tulsa, Okla., saw the lowest price at $1.73.

As of Dec. 3, the average price at the pump for mid grade at $2.03 and premium was $2.12, the survey found.
