Ford to Certify Dealers for EV Sales
Ford Motor Co. said it will greatly expand the number of its dealers that will be certified to sell plug-in electrified vehicles.
By this spring, the automaker said it expects to increase to 900 the number of dealers that will be certified to sell the vehicles. That’s about one-third of the Ford dealer network, the company said.
In November, 200 dealers were certified to sells EVs. The company is aiming to have a certified EV dealer in all 50 states, it said in a news release.
