andair Transportation Properties, a subsidiary of Landair Transport, a Greeneville Tenn.-based trucking company, has been dissolved, the Greeneville Sun reported.

Landair Transport, a truckload carrier, has 850 trucks with 525 of them company-owned, and 2,100 trailers, according to the company’s Web site.

Chris Horner, Landair Transport’s chief financial officer, said that Landair Transportation Properties had owned Landair Transport’s terminal in Columbus, Ohio, the paper reported.

Horner told the Sun that the subsidiary no longer owned the terminal and had become a “shell company” that was no longer needed.
