Kitty Hawk Signs Holiday Mail Season Contract With Postal Service

xpedited air and ground carrier Kitty Hawk on Monday said it signed a $29.33 million contract with the United States Postal Service to manage a daytime air and ground cargo network for holiday season mail.

As part of the project, which is known as C-Net, Kitty Hawk plans to procure the services of about 130 trucks, the company said in a statement.

The C-Net network will operate through Kitty Hawk's Fort Wayne, Ind., facility.
