avid Everhart, co-founder Chief Operating Officer of IdleAire Technologies Corp., on Thursday resigned from the company due to ongoing medical issues.

Everhart will continue to serve as a member of IdleAir’s board until Jan. 15. His replacement will be Lynn Youngs, who is currently the company’s executive vice president.

Everhart, along with A.C. Wilson, Tom Badgett and Randy Massey, helped found IdleAir in 2000.

IdleAir manufactures systems that offer truck drivers in-cab climate control, internet access and other amenities without the need to idle their tractors’ engine.
