Trailer maker Great Dane has relocated its Atlanta facility to a site that boasts an expanded parts showroom and more generous stock yard, according to a company release.

The location, at 1637 Forest Parkway, has a large drop yard. It also is a designated Great Dane truck body center and the company’s newest flatbed distribution site.

Al Cox, a regional sales manager, said that in addition to being safer, the facility is in a more convenient location. And because it is larger “we can stock more trailers, truck bodies and parts to provide our customers with faster service,” Cox said.

The Atlanta branch, which opened in May, is located near Great Dane’s manufacturing plants in Statesboro, Ga., and Huntsville, Tenn.

Great Dane makes commercial transportation equipment including dry and refrigerated trailers and truck bodies, as well as steel, aluminum and combo platform trailers.

With more than 25,000 square feet, the Great Dane Atlanta branch features an expansive new and pre-owned trailer and truck body display lot, a large retail parts center and an updated service center that is open seven days a week.
