Gasoline Rises to $3.722 a Gallon in Lundberg Survey

The average price for regular gasoline rose 3.07 cents in the past two weeks to $3.722 a gallon, according to Lundberg Survey Inc.

Gasoline prices have increased for 12 weeks in a row, totaling 43 cents, since Feb. 7, according to survey publisher Trilby Lundberg.

Of the cities surveyed in the lower 48 states, the lowest price, $3.34, was in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The highest was $4.27 in Los Angeles, the Associated Press reported.

The survey covers the period ended May 2 and is based on information obtained at about 2,500 filling stations by the Camarillo, California-based company.
