Gasoline Prices Gain 4 Cents to $2.27, Lundberg Says

asoline prices rose 4 cents in the past two weeks to $2.27 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

The gain was for the two-week period ended Friday. The national average for mid-grade was $2.38, while premium was $2.48 per gallon.

The Department of Energy is scheduled to release its weekly gasoline and diesel price survey Monday afternoon.



The lowest average price for self-serve regular was in Tulsa, Okla., at $2.09, while the highest was in Honolulu, at $2.74.
