Gasoline Prices Continue to Drop, Lundberg Reports

asoline pump prices continued to drop in the two weeks ended Friday, declining 18 cents to an average $2.27 a gallon for all grades, analyst Trilby Lundberg reported in her latest survey on Sunday.

Unleaded regular averaged $2.24 a gallon, midgrade averaged $2.34 and premium averaged $2.44, Lunbderg said in her semimonthly survey.

In the three previous two-week periods, gasoline prices fell 25 cents, 23 cents and 10 cents, according to Lundberg's figures.



The lowest average price in the nation for regular unleaded among stations surveyed was $1.94, in Wichita, Kan. The highest was $2.64 in Honolulu.
