EBE Posts Higher Revenue, Adds Staff in Fiscal 2Q

EBE Technologies, a provider of business-process management applications for the transportation industry, said its revenue grew and workforce expanded in its fiscal second quarter.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 amounted to 112% of total new sales revenue from all of fiscal 2013, the software company said in the May 6 announcement. EBE did not disclose specific financial figures.

The company said a significant portion of growth was driven by strong demand for applications designed to help recruit and retain drivers, as well as improve back-office efficiencies.

EBE said it added positions in implementation, support, development and project management for its driver services and financial business units while moving forward with product offerings.

The new PO Manager is designed to automate and improve purchase-order management. The product increases visibility and raises accountability for the purchasing of parts and other products, EBE said.

The East Moline, Illinois-based company offers its SHIPS workflow software to streamline a variety of business processes, including document management, billing and settlement and driver management and recruiting.
