Deutsche Post Splitting Logistics Unit

Deutsche Post AG will split its logistics division into two businesses, and the company appointed managers for the new units, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

The Supply Chain division will be headed by Bruce Edwards, 52, while Hermann Ude, 46, will head the company’s Global Forwarding and Freight unit, Bloomberg reported, citing a statement from Germany-based Deutsche Post.

Deutsche Post is the parent company of DHL Americas, ranked No. 3 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
