DAT Solutions, Getloaded to Merge Into One Load Board

DAT Solutions and Getloaded will merge their two databases and launch one unified load board before the end of the year, the two companies announced Oct. 13.

Roper Technologies has owned both companies since 2008, but the two have maintained separate databases for the past eight years.

“Since 1999, Getloaded has built its reputation as a marketplace for smaller brokers and carriers, especially those involved in moving flatbed and specialty freight,” said Don Thornton, senior vice president at DAT. “We’re excited to offer more choices and services to Getloaded customers and to allow all customers to post their loads and trucks in one efficient superdatabase.”

Brokers, carriers and shippers posted more than 100 million loads and trucks on both load boards in 2015, according to DAT. It added that Getloaded carriers will gain access to four times as many loads each day when the unified database is launched.
