Crude Oil Prices Continue to Rise, Topping $64 a Barrel

Crude oil futures rose to more than $64 a barrel in early trading Wednesday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the seventh straight trading day of increases, Bloomberg reported.Oil futures had spiked to more $68 briefly on Tuesday before falling back to close at $62.93, following continued tensions over Iran’s detention of 15 British sailors, Bloomberg reported.Oil has risen every day since March 19, when it closed at $56.59 a barrel.
